Cancellation must be made four days prior to the start of a strength program and 24 hours in advanced to an on-ice lesson in order to receive a full refund. This allows us the necessary time to fill your previously occupied position.
Prorated Program Fees?
There are no prorated programs due to vacations, other camps, illness or missed sessions unless otherwise noted in the program details.
Can I swap sessions with another athlete?
Our group strength training sessions operate at full capacity. We do not allow athletes to swap or trade sessions.
Why is there an age requirement?
We strongly support generalization for young athletes. We believe that the fundamental skills they need to be successful in hockey can be learned by playing other sports at a young age and also, by simply just being kids and playing outside!
Do you offer any discounts?
We currently offer a 10% multi-family member discount for off-ice training.
We also offer 10% off any strength training program if a current customer refers a prospect and that prospect subsequently signs up.
What can a strength program with Top-Tier do for me?
During the in-season phase of our programming, we will aim to maintain any efforts made over the off-season and add to those gains while continuing and adding more injury reduction and mobility work into the program. Strength is everything in the pursuit of a better stride, becoming quicker, and getting faster as an athlete. The more force we can create in each stride, the faster we will go and if we continue to stay healthy we can continue our pursuits on the ice.
By identifying any improper movement patterns or muscular imbalances and addressing those issues, we can actually reduce the potential for injury. This will keep an athlete in the game and competing.
In-season training is no longer about maintaining what we gained during the off-season. While the volume of training may decrease, it is imperative that an athlete continue to get stronger and take care of the areas which are prone to overuse injuries.
Top-Tier prides itself on teaching and demanding proper movement and weight-lifting technique. Our athletes will become completely proficient at the fundamentals before they are permitted to move on to more complex and complicated lifts or movements. This will ensure that athletes are training properly and safely in a supervised environment.
With child and adult obesity in America at all time highs, we can teach athletes how to take care of their health for the long-term by providing them with the skills and knowledge they need for proper nutrition, exercise, and the confidence they need to be an active person. These skills will not only aid them in their development as an athlete, but the lessons learned can carry over into adulthood and lead them toward a healthy lifestyle.
